Practical Magic: celebrate Fall Gallery Night, the magic of material culture, and the spirit of investing in our creative selves.

Join us for a festive evening that includes an artist talk featuring the artists in the exhibition Supernova, featuring Hope Wang and Keith Kaziak. The artists create installations to understand the decay of their physical environments and the social politics that influence them. Everyday symbols and objects, such as traffic barriers, an anvil, a slice of bread, and pink insulation foam, act as entry points into the humor and sorrow of human tragedy. Through extreme attention to visual blight in city landscapes, Supernova presents a romanticized view of a world constantly disappearing around us. 

Enjoy hosted craft beers and cocktails, the opportunity to update your professional headshot with a free mini creative session with professional photographers, and live music from Crook and Company. Local food truck Cocina Filipina will be on site with delicious Filipino fare.

Artist Panel Discussion at 7:00PM.

Headshot sessions are available to attendees present at the event on a first-come first-served basis. Sessions are 10-15 minutes in length. You will select three options and two weeks after the event, you’ll receive the three photo files by email.
